Serlyn Chopra Biography

Sherlyn Chopra is controversy’s child. The more she tries to come out of it, the more she falls into it. After having exposed all she could in a number of inconsequential skin flicks, she still admits that she has no issues about letting her clothes down in front of the camera.

Having recently changed her name from Mona to Sherlyn, she wants to make it big in the film industry and won’t let anything come in between. She calls herself half Christian, half Muslim with a Persian ancestry and a Punjabi surname.

Sherlyn has done quite a number of unsuccessful films which include “Beeper”, “Time Pass” and “Naughty Boy”. None of the films could get her any fame even with her dare bare attitude and bold scenes.

Giving a very interesting reason for her name change, Sherlyn admits that with her previous name “Mona”, she has done mediocre films but as “Sherlyn Chopra”, she is looking forward to better and meatier roles to play. That’s the reason why she turned down the role of Kangana Ranaut’s sister in “Shakalaka Boom Boom”.

In “Dosti- Friends Forever”, Sherlyn played a very small unimportant role which went unnoticed.

Sherlyn is looking forward to her film “Game”, “Red Swastika” and her item number “Lut Le Gaye” in “Raqeeb”. This song was first offered to Sushmita Sen but later came to Sherlyn. It is composed by Pritam and sung by Alisha Chinai. She is hoping for a long lasting career in Bollywood.

For the first time. Sherlyn will wear a lingerie not for any skin flick but for a good cause. She will be doing an ad for PETA ( People For Ethical Treatment Towards Animals ), which will protest against cruelty meted out to animals by humans.

Whether she calls herself Mona or Sherlyn, it’s the quality of work that can actually give this lissome belle some much awaited recognition in Bollywood. But as long as she flaunts her cleavages, she is sure to get loads of film offers.
