Everyone knows that Aamir Khan is perfectionist and no one dare to mess with him when it comes to work. However, Pratik Babbar who is just one film old and also the son of Raj Babbar and Smita Patil dare to do this recently on the sets of Dhobi Ghat. He made the film unit wait endlessly on the sets of the film. Not only
that but he didn’t even inform anybody about his absence for the day. Eventually, the days shooting was called off and Aamir had to go back home. Dhobi Ghat is Aamir’s wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut.
Revealing about the incident, a unit member said, “Frantic efforts to trace Pratik were made, but of no avail. Officials from Aamir Khan Productions made repeated calls to Pratik’s mobile, but nobody could trace him that day.”
After some time, the film unit got to know that the actor is in Goa. Moreover, the film’s shooting was cancelled for next two days due to his absence. “It was very strange of Pratik to go to Goa. He is often spaced-out,” added the source.
However on his return, Aamir gave him a piece of words. He said, “Aise kaam nahin chalega. Please try and understand.” Then onwards Pratik has not dared to skip informally.

Looking 20 at 44: Aamir Khan in 3 Idiots
Just happened to see the trailer of 3 Idiots and I was surprised to see Aamir look so young. Its amazing how he has managed to play a 20yr old at 44, with so much of zeal and elan.
Apart from the face, even the lean look, the hairstyle, body language, gait and even mannerisms. Aamir seems have worked on everything to make his character
look real on screen.
The best thing about Aamir whenever he takes up a role and involves himself in it, he completely leaves out traces of his own personality out. He is so effortless and natural with his acting that you never feel you are watching a ’superstar enact the role’ as it happens with say Shahrukh and Salman who just cannot forget their ’superstar’ tag for even once while acting – its so evident in their performances!
You never feel that you have seen Aamir in a similar performance before. It is probably this passion that makes him undoubtedly the best actor in India. Not about rivalries folks but professionally – as an actor, on grounds of passion, dedication and hard-work – Aamir definitely has an edge over all the other actors!

Aamir Khan shares the dias with Hillary Clinton

During her visit to India, Mrs. Clinton, attended a special interactive session with the students of Xavier College in Mumbai on Saturday and shared the dias with Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who’s also the brand ambassador of the education campaign Teach India.
During this interactive session, Aamir emphasized the need for changes in the education. He said, “Today, students are mostly focusing on memorizing their subjects because they have to face questions like ‘Did you come first?’, ‘How much did you score in mathematics?’”
“I would like to hear teachers telling students: ‘Hey, your friend is weak in this subject, would you help him?’”
“This will incorporate the feeling of sharing and caring among students and will help in making them good individuals. We should teach our kids to be caring.”
“Sadly, more emphasis is given to report cards and less on exploring minds.”
“Teaching should be a high paying job so that youngsters should aim at becoming teachers. I would like to see that one day in India, teaching is the most highly paid job.”
Hillary was quite impressed with the star and praised him saying, “It is a great delight to be here with Aamir Khan, who is not only a Bollywood icon but also the great advocate for education….I am here to see how US and India can work for the common cause of education, which is the great equalizer and gateway to opportunities,” Mrs. Clinton said.
Clinton supported Aamir’s view and said, “I think the actual requirement to become successful in the world is cooperation and collaboration among people and among countries.”

Aamir Khan biography
Famous for his outstanding performances and one-movie-at- a-time attitude, Amir Hussain Khan, lovingly called AK, is undoubtedly one of the best actors in the hindi film industry.
Born on the 14th of march 1965, Aamir is the son of producer Tahir Hussain and Zeenat Hussain. He has 2 brothers, Faizal and Hyder ali Khan and two sisters ,Nikhat and Farhad.
Not many know that Aamir has done quite a few films as child artists such as Yaadon Ki Baraat, and Madhosh. But it was not until Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988),directed by his cousin Mansoor khan, that actually got this actor huge success.
Though aamir had the priviledge of being born in a noted family, his struggle in bollywood was no less than a new comer. He worked hard on his acting abilities and gradually went up to be a superstar of the 1990’s.
With films like Dil, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Rangeela and Raja Hindustani, there was just no lookin back, for Aamir. Films of every kind kept falling in his lap which gave him a golden opportunity to prove his versatility.
Initially Aamir did a lot of light comedy and romantic flicks. He totally succeeded in winning the hearts of every viewer and gave unforgettable performances in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Andaz Apna Apna, Ghulam, Ishq and Mann. But very soon this image was overtaken by the serious characters he played in Sarfarosh (1999), Earth(!998), Fanaa (2006) and Rang De Basanti(2006)
Today Aamir does films that are aesthetically different, offbeat and critically acclaimed. He is one actor who has shown every character onscreen with equal zeal and reality. His character of Akaash in Dil Chahta Hai is of a happy-go-lucky young boy who takes life easily and stays away from girls. The audiences have adored Aamir in almost every role he has ever played.
In his career of 15 long years, Aamir is now all set to go behind the camera. His 1st production Lagaan, was released in 2001. This film redefined film making to the core with a relatively unconditional theme. It was a period film and was also nominated to the Oscars.
Aamir has various shades to his life, film and career. He keeps private and doesn’t believe in most of the film awards. He was different from the other stars right from the beginning and he has been able to retain this freshness even today!
